Support the Kids

Help the kids get to camp
The district of Northampton in Western Australia and is one of our farming communities that are struggling to survive due to severe drought conditions.

The Year 6/7 kids of Northampton District High School (which covers Kindy to Year 10) are going on camp in August 2008 at a cost of $375 per child. U

Unfortunately, for some families this cost is going to be impossible to cover and for others it is putting a severe strain on already overstretched family budgets.

Fix My Business would like to help the kids get to camp without putting additional strain on their families.

Anyone who has been on school camp, knows the importance of being able to participate in a camp at a young age. It gives you the ability to work together, share experiences, learn new skills and enjoy different surroundings to normal day to day schooling.

I know I have some great memories of my school camps and I want to make sure these kids get the chance to build their own memories.

The Northampton kids are busy holding fundraisers and monster raffles but they really need a bit of a hand to reach the target so they can all get to camp. Being a small community it makes it hard to raise funds through fundraisers, although these kids are giving it their best shot.

Fix My Business is kicking off the donations with a $200 donation and would like to encourage everyone to participate and give what you can. Every little bit helps.

Our sincerest thanks in advance.
